Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, divided
  • 1 block feta cheese preferably block feta packed in brine, full-fat
  • 2 Tbsp. honey, divided
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh thyme
  • TRISCUIT Crackers for serving

Equipment

  • oven-safe dish

Method

Prep the Feta
  1. Place the block of feta cheese in a small, oven-safe dish or baking pan. Ensure the dish is just slightly larger than the feta block to allow the oil and honey to pool around it.
Drizzle with Oil
  1. Pour 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over the feta cheese, ensuring it's coated. Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil around the base of the feta in the dish.
Add Honey and Herbs
  1. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over the top of the feta. Sprinkle the fresh thyme evenly over the cheese and honey.
Bake to Perfection
  1. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the feta is softened, warm, and slightly golden around the edges. The honey should be bubbly and fragrant.
Final Drizzle
  1. Once removed from the oven, drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of honey over the hot baked feta.
Serve Immediately
  1. Let the baked feta cool for a minute or two (it will be very hot!) before serving warm with TRISCUIT crackers.

Notes

Baked feta is best enjoyed immediately after baking for optimal texture and temperature. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and gently reheated. Nutrition information is estimated based on common ingredients and serving sizes and may vary.
